You can "green" your electricity usage by making the switch to local 100% renewable energy while also supporting the building of new green energy infrastructure under Wayland Electricitiy Choice. 

Wayland Electricity Choice is a group electricity purchasing program from the Town of Wayland for Wayland residents and businesses. The program offers a 100% Green option. The 100% Green price is 15.384 ¢/kWh, and the price is locked in until May 2026. This price is less than the price residents were paying last spring under the standard Eversource rate. Under Wayland's  100% Green option all of your electricity will be provided from new resources in New England (MA Class 1 RECs) .

The program is a Town alternative to Eversource’s Basic Service and to other electricity offers in the marketplace.

Wayland Electricity Choice offers three choices so you can choose the option that is right for you. New participants will be automatically enrolled in Wayland Standard Green. Wayland 100% Green and Wayland Economy are available by request.
