Help us reach our goal!
We are entirely volunteer-run. Collectively our volunteers donate 35 hours/week, at least, in service to our town, for free.
For years we have organized and run educational webinars, built, trained and supported a growing team of coaches, organized community events like Earth Day and EV Petting Zoos. We maintain, update and pay for this Energize Wayland website where you can always find the latest in climate action. We compose and send out newsletters, and field climate-related questions, and many more requests for coaching. We also help promote other organizations' events and support individuals with their climate projects.
It is often those very same volunteers who pay for materials out of their own pockets. Banners, lawn signs, fliers, web platform fees, venue rental... those don't come cheap.
We do not receive funding from the town, or any government program. When we sell compost bins, we do not mark up the price. We do not receive referral money from the vendors we recommend.
Please donate, especially if you benefited from our coaches, events, and newsletters. Not a cent goes to waste: it all goes straight back into the service of helping you and all our neighbors become more climate-resilient!
