Margie and Tony Lee will present a one hour introduction and overview of our 4-session “Can We Stop Climate Change?” course starting on Thursday, October 5 (more info on that soon).
Long time Wayland residents Tony and Margie Lee will present an introductory program on climate change. They invite you to submit questions prior to the session or bring them with you. They will introduce the subject, explaining the basics as well as some of the progress that has been made to date on local, state and federal levels. They hope to give you the confidence to start conversations with friends, neighbors and relatives.
At the conclusion of this discussion, you will be invited to sign up for a 4-session climate change course “Can We Stop Climate Change?” led by the Lees on Thursdays, October 5, 12, 19 and 26, 10:00 to 11:30 AM.

Tony Lee has a BA from Yale University and an MBA from Rutgers and is now retired. He has worked as an educator on climate change, giving talks and leading courses for 30 years. He helped develop the “Can We Stop Climate Change?” course, and, with a small team, has led it 30 times in the last 3 years to over 300 people. Margie Lee has a BA from Skidmore and completed a public policy program at BC. She has worked in higher ed administration and as a grassroots volunteer and educator. In recent years she has been involved in climate change advocacy and education. The Lees enjoy outdoor activities, including gardening at the Wayland Community Garden, and are motivated to maintain a healthy planet for their three grandsons who live in Virginia.
